Redwoods Dowling Kerr is pleased to announce the successful sale of Daisy Day Care, a highly regarded children’s day nursery in Ampleforth, Yorkshire, to an existing operator in the childcare sector.
Established in 2009 and operating from its current setting since 2012, Daisy Day Care has built a strong reputation for delivering quality childcare to families across Ampleforth and the surrounding villages. Benefiting from a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating, historically high occupancy levels and regular referrals from satisfied parents, the nursery has become a well-established and trusted part of the local community.
Registered for 24 children from birth to five years of age, the nursery also provides a popular before and after-school club for children up to 12 years old. Its location within a desirable residential area, coupled with limited local competition, has enabled the business to attract families from both the immediate locality and neighbouring villages, as well as parents commuting to work in the surrounding area.
The nursery operates from a charming detached bungalow which has been carefully converted and continually improved to provide versatile childcare accommodation. Presented to a high standard throughout, the setting offers bright and welcoming children’s rooms with direct access to outdoor play areas, creating a stimulating environment that supports learning and development across all age groups.
