Redwoods Dowling Kerr successfully found a new tenant for a property, which facilitated the founding of Little Heroes Nursery Ltd.
The property owner, Ms Bindia Dalal, instructed RDK to find a tenant for her building, a former nursery situated in the highly sought-after village of Thames Ditton in Surrey.
The property operates from a carefully converted and updated detached property, providing a warm and stimulating learning environment across both ground and first floors for up to 50 children across various individual age groups.
Based approximately 12 miles south west of central London and ideally positioned adjacent to the (A309) at the heart of a densely populated residential area. The new nursery is ideal for attracting children from the immediate locality and neighbouring areas and parents who commute en-route to their workplaces.
The buyers, Mrs Emma Wicks & Mr Dan Egan, were attracted to this property due to its desirable and convenient location and already being set up as a D1 premises. Emma will bring her considerable experience of over 17 years of working in nurseries and running a childminding business into Little Heroes Nursery.
The pair are currently working hard and putting the finishing touches on new fixtures and fittings while waiting for the green light from Ofsted. They have confirmed that Little Heroes Nursery will cater for children from 3 months to 5 years old.
The new tenant, Dan Egan said, “After a few years of looking to open a new nursery, my partner Emma and I found a building advertised through Redwoods Dowling Kerr. Our Sales Negotiator Sarah was excellent at getting the right information and constantly communicating with us throughout the process. We’re very excited about opening Little Heroes Nursery in a great location in Thames Ditton, Surrey. We’ll be promoting active, healthy and happy children, and the property we now have the keys to is perfect for matching our ethos. Redwoods Dowling Kerr has started us on this life-changing journey, and we can’t wait to be back in touch when we find another property to expand into.”
Sales Negotiator Sarah Ellison added, “It has been a pleasure working with Ms Dalal to find her a new tenant for her business premises. It has been challenging with the current pandemic and taken several viewings to secure the right people due to this brand-new start-up opportunity. Dan and Emma came along early in 2021 with their interest to expand, and it has been great to help them secure their new business venture Little Heroes Nursery. We would like to wish them all the best for their opening in mid-2021.”
