The agency has been sold to Balmoral Homecare Limited, part of the Grosvenor Health and Social Care Group, who are a leading UK national domiciliary care provider.
Grosvenor Health and Social Care, who operate multiple domiciliary care agencies and have over 20 years of experience within the sector, wished to acquire Acasa Care due to the opportunity to grow their group in Scotland.
Barbara Duncan and Jim Morrow, who founded Acasa Care 10 years ago, have over 50 years of experience working in the healthcare sector and cemented the business as a leading care provider in the local area, currently providing 1800 hours of care per week to 200 service users.
Barbara and Jim wished to sell Acasa Care in order to retire and instructed Redwoods Dowling Kerr in the sale and our bespoke marketing campaign generated a significant amount of interest in the business, with 5 viewings and 3 strong offers made.
The business offers a wide variety of care options, such as care for those with physical and learning disabilities, as well as support for mental health conditions and dementia, and has developed strong relationships with its clients and local authorities, such as the NHS and private residents in the area and enjoys a mix of local and private clients.
The care agency has established an excellent reputation in the local area for providing high-quality care to clients and enjoys many recommendations and referrals. Additionally, the business was rated as ‘Very Good’ by the Care Inspectorate in its most recent inspection, highlighting the high standards of care within the business.
