A well-known and highly respected domiciliary care agency located in Derbyshire has been sold to Care Sante Group, advised by Redwoods Dowling Kerr.
Valley Care Direct was founded in 2010 and during that time the business has earned a truly enviable reputation for offering a wide range of professional, individual care packages to service users who are living in their own homes.
Valley Care Direct offers a wide range of both long and short-term personal and domestic care for adults and the elderly including personal and medical care, management of medication, meal preparation, mental health, dementia, physical and learning difficulties.
The agency currently delivers care to over 70 service users, providing approximately 850 hours of care on a weekly basis and was rated as “Good” across all areas by CQC at the last inspection.
Furthermore, the business has forged strong relationships with several external providers including the local authority, NHS and private individuals residing in their own homes.
Valley Care Direct enjoys regular referrals and word of mouth recommendations because of its excellent reputation.
The owners wanted to sell the business as they decided to retire, and they instructed Redwoods Dowling Kerr in the sale. Using our bespoke buyers intelligence and marketing campaign, Valley Care received a strong amount of interest and four offers were submitted.
The buyer was Care Sante Group, an existing operator in the healthcare sector who saw the business as an ideal bolt-on acquisition.
