Vacant care home sold by Redwoods Dowling Kerr after seller switches agent

A substantial former care facility with planning permission to extend the existing structure and create a 54-bedroom residential care home has been purchased by a corporate buyer.

The highly visible property is just off the A577 within a well-populated residential area and close to the nearby motorways, providing excellent transport links across the region.

The vendor listed the property for sale as she wished to pursue other business interests and Redwoods Dowling Kerr was instructed to find a buyer.

Once on the market, the premises attracted substantial interest, receiving six viewings and two offers. The property was sold to a corporate buyer with extensive experience in healthcare and a background in the sector stretching back many years.
