Redwoods Dowling Kerr is pleased to announce the successful sale of Tiny Turners Nursery Group, a respected group of four freehold nurseries and one out-of-school club located across the North East of England. The group has been acquired by national operator, Kids Planet Day Nurseries Ltd.
With a strong local reputation built over 25 years, Tiny Turners operates from well-presented premises in Darlington, Middlesbrough, Redcar, and Stockton-on-Tees. The properties are welcoming and benefit from spacious outdoor environments ideal for early years learning and play. The out-of-school club complements the group’s offering and provides additional flexibility for families in the region. In total, the recently renovated settings have a combined capacity of 335 children between the ages of three months to five years.
The sale was overseen by Karrina Lee, Senior Sales Negotiator for Childcare and Education at RDK, who led the transaction from launch to completion. Having previously been brought to market by another business broker, the group sale was relaunched by RDK in January this year and quickly attracted significant buyer interest, going under offer within just one month.

This acquisition represents another strategic step forward for Kids Planet as they expand their footprint in the North East of England. The Kids Planet group have acquired several settings through RDK, including; Angels by Day in Nottingham, The Wendy House Day Nursery in North Wales and most recently Castle House Day Nursery in Warwick.
