The group comprises four charming day nursery settings offering a combined capacity of more than 200 childcare places. Each setting has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and benefits from strong occupancy levels. Since their formation, the nurseries have built an excellent reputation for delivering high quality childcare within welcoming and secure environments.
The group attracted strong interest due to its scale, quality of provision, and future growth potential across the North East of England.
Ella Sanderson, Sales Negotiator for Childcare, successfully identified the ideal buyer, a first-time buyer with 14 years of experience in the sector who previously worked for a not-for-profit childcare provider in Australia. This ensured continuity for staff, children, and families, while supporting the next phase of development for the group. The business was sold over the asking price following a targeted and competitive sales process.
