Shotley Bridge Nursery Sold to ICP Educare Limited

Shotley Bridge Nursery School Ltd, located in Consett, County Durham, has sold to ICP Educare Limited in a deal facilitated by Redwoods Dowling Kerr.

Established in 1991, Shotley Bridge Nursery is set in a grade 2 listed stone-built property, with access to beautiful surrounding countryside. The Nursery is currently registered to 95 children, and boasts excellent staff retention levels, with some members employed there for over 20 years.

Vendors Anne Young and Laura Bowery have built an enviable reputation for the business, receiving several awards including the NDNA’s E-Quality Counts and Millie’s Mark, alongside being rated ‘Good’ at the last Ofsted inspection.

RDK has previously assisted the buyer, ICP Educare Limited, an Early Years platform, backed by the specialist education sector investor Innervation Capital Partners Ltd.
