Redwoods Dowling Kerr are delighted to announce the sale of 121 Care & Mobility Limited, a first-class domiciliary care services provider situated in Kent.
Established and run under the same ownership since 2003, the business was founded originally providing mobility equipment sales as well as a domiciliary care provision.
Proving successful, the business launched a mobility equipment retail outlet in 2007 and continued to experience strong levels of growth, cementing a strong position in its region.
By 2012, the Directors made the decision to pivot the direction of 121 Care & Mobility Ltd and closed the mobility equipment retail outlets, opting to solely focus on growing the domiciliary care division of the business.
Since then, the Company has been awarded several long-term contracts with a range of local authorities, providing a reliable source of income. The business is also rated as ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission in all areas.
Today, 121 Care & Mobility Ltd is a highly profitable business with strong trading figures year-on-year. The owners decided to sell the Company as they are moving abroad.
They instructed Redwoods Dowling Kerr in the sale and once placed on the market, the business generated significant interest.
It was sold to existing operators who have multiple domiciliary care businesses throughout the UK. The buyers decided to purchase 121 Care & Mobility Ltd as the location and reputation was the perfect opportunity to expand their portfolio.
