Playdays Nursery, a children’s day nursery in Thetford, Norfolk, has successfully sold to Clarence House Day Nurseries Ltd in a deal facilitated by Redwoods Dowling Kerr.
Established in 2006, Playdays Nursery offers daytime care for forty children aged between three months to five years. Operating from a Grade II listed property, the nursery is situated in the heart of Thetford, Norfolk, close to local amenities and transport links. Playdays aim to make the setting feel like a second home to all children, parents and staff, benefiting from a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating and an excellent reputation within the local community.
Following our client’s retirement, Playdays represented an ideal opportunity for established nursery group, Clarence House Day Nurseries. Meeting our client’s requirements for a small chain with a similar ethos to take over the nursery and maintain a feeling of security amongst parents and staff, Clarence House have offered quality childcare at affordable prices since 2003. With eleven existing settings in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire, Playdays Nursery marks their first expansion into the Norfolk area.
