Playbox Day Nursery, a well-established children’s day nursery located in Derbyshire, has been sold to group operators, advised by Redwoods Dowling Kerr.
The Nursery was established in 2000 and has been run by the current owner, Claire Gregory, since 2014. During that time, the setting has earned a truly enviable reputation for providing the highest levels of childcare.
The nursery enjoys excellent reviews ensuring regular referrals and recommendations with historically healthy occupancy levels.
Rated as “Good” by Ofsted at the latest inspection in April 2016, there is an experienced management team including a highly qualified manager and deputy manager together with a compliment of long serving staff members in place which is another factor of the businesses ongoing success and reputation.
The business is equipped to a very high standard with an extensive range of excellent quality resources and children’s furniture, which are required to operate such a thriving nursery.
Claire decided to sell Playbox Day Nursery as she wanted a career change. Back in 2018, Claire sold Little Wonders Day Nursery through Redwoods Dowling Kerr and she instructed us once more to sell Playbox Day Nursery.
Using our bespoke buyer intelligence and marketing strategies, we found Claire a suitable buyer. The nursery was sold to Louise & Edward Burdall, group business operators who have used RDK’s services when acquiring previously.
