A charming day nursery registered for 65 children in Cheshire has been sold by Redwoods Dowling Kerr.
Old Hall Day Nursery is well-established and highly respected amongst residents in Congleton, and occupies a convenient and accessible position, with close proximity to the town’s major commuter routes and public transport facilities.
Having operated successfully under the ownership of our clients Maureen and Robert MacGregor, this well-known nursery has earned an excellent reputation enjoying regular referrals and recommendations and was rated as “Good” by Ofsted at the last inspection in 2018.
There is an experienced management team and compliment of qualified nursery staff in place, which is another factor of the nursery’s success and reputation. Old Hall Day Nursery operates from a deceptively spacious and versatile nursery accommodation which is well presented throughout.
Having built up the successful nursery for over two decades, Maureen and Robert decided to sell their business to facilitate their lifestyle changes and instructed Redwoods Dowling Kerr in the sale.
After a successful marketing and research campaign, Old Hall Day Nursery was sold to Welcome Nurseries, a corporate operator with over 15 childcare settings in the UK.
Upon completion of the sale, the vendor said: “Natasha had been wonderful to work with. Her attitude is very professional and the service I have received outstanding.
“She has been very helpful in guiding me through this sale and I wish Linda at Welcome Nurseries all the best for the future.”
Linda Mills, Director at Welcome Nurseries, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have acquired Old Hall Day Nursery. It was such a smooth process excellently guided by Natasha Satterthwaite. We were able to complete quickly with minimum fuss.
“The communication we received was excellent. Thank you to all at Redwoods and especially to Natasha.”
Childcare Negotiator, Natasha Satterthwaite, said: “It’s been an absolute pleasure assisting Maureen with the sale of her business Old Hall Day Nursery, she is highly deserving of a well-earned break.
“I’m sure the buyer will grow the business and I’d like to wish her the very best of luck with it.”
