Redwoods Dowling Kerr are delighted to announce the sale of Phoenix Park Nursery Ltd, a group of two childcare settings in Nottingham.
The group sold to ICP Educare Limited, the Early Years platform backed by the specialist education sector investor Innervation Capital Partners Ltd.
In ICP Educare, Innervation Capital Partners are now backing proven management previously involved in both ICP Nurseries and Cresswell Nurseries which, when merged in 2020, formed ICP Education, a group of 44 settings serving over 6,000 children.
The ICP Educare team is led by operating partner Dominic Harrison and operations director Lisa Rowland.
Phoenix Park Nursery Ltd consists of two children’s day nurseries in Nottingham and Giltbrook. The nursery at Millenium Way is split over two self-contained freehold properties located next door to each other. Giltbrook is a stand-alone detached property on a leasehold basis.
The settings enjoy a fantastic reputation in the Nottingham area, with high occupancy levels and a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating for one of the settings. Over the years, its former owners established the business as one of the top providers of childcare in the region. Their decision to sell came from a desire to pursue other business ventures.
With a combined capacity for 201 children and strong financial characteristics, the opportunity was quickly snapped up by ICP Educare after receiving multiple viewings and offers.
