Redwoods Dowling Kerr is pleased to announce the successful sale of Mulberry Bush Montessori, a respected children’s nursery and pre-school in Glasgow, to SADCO Nursery Group.
Mulberry Bush Montessori has delivered high-quality childcare for more than 20 years, caring for children aged from three months to five years. The nursery operates from a substantial property with capacity for 100 children and offers clear opportunities for future expansion. The Care Inspectorate awarded the setting a 4 to 5 rating in 2023, and the National Day Nurseries Association recognised it as one of the Best Nurseries in Scotland.
SADCO Nursery Group – led by its owners – Saqib Sadiq and Amir Sadiq – continues to expand its presence across Scotland. The group operates Noah’s Ark Nursery in Fife, Sunshine Nursery in Fife, which was also acquired through Redwoods Dowling Kerr, and Poppins Kindergarten in Glasgow. The acquisition of Mulberry Bush Montessori marks an important milestone for the group, which now operates four nurseries across Scotland. SADCO Nursery Group supports more than 90 roles across management, senior practitioners, early years officers and trainees, with all settings operating in partnership with their local authorities.
The sale was facilitated by Sarah Ellison, Deputy Manager, Childcare and Education at Redwoods Dowling Kerr, who introduced the retiring owner to SADCO Nursery Group.
