Redwoods Dowling Kerr are pleased to announce the sale of Marshalswick Pre-School, purchased by Ashbourne Day Nurseries.
Marshalswick Pre-School was founded in 2007 by Nita Patel and has developed a strong reputation for encouraging children to reach their full potential as a result of their excellent facilities.
The pre-school, based in Hertfordshire, with capacity for 32 children, providing quality childcare from 2 to 5 years of age, as well as also offering a popular breakfast and lunch club for children to attend.
The pre-school operates from a purpose-built property and received a ‘Good’ rating from Ofsted in its last inspection. There are also excellent transport links nearby for parents across Hertfordshire.
The owner wished to sell the pre-school due to their other business interests. Recognised as the UK’s leading childcare broker, Redwoods Dowling Kerr was instructed in the sale.
The high-quality setting was very popular during the sales process, with 37 viewings and 6 offers. The setting was sold to Ashbourne Day Nurseries, who plan to integrate it into the group.
Ashbourne Day Nurseries, owned by Imran Mehdi, are experienced within the sector, owning 16 settings throughout the UK. They were attracted to the setting due to the location being close to a nursery they own, making Marshalswick Pre-School perfect to join on to the business.
The vendor said: “My experience selling the nursery via Redwoods has been a very positive. I bought from Redwoods many years ago and did not hesitate to use them again for the sale. Natasha was actively looking to get the best for me, working hard to meet the needs of my sale requirements. The level of service received from Natasha has been excellent all round”.
