Redwoods Dowling Kerr are excited to announce the successful sale of Manorleigh Spring Meadows (Care) Limited, a first-class residential home providing care for individuals with learning difficulties.
The business was originally established in 1986 and has formed a well-respected reputation within the local community for delivering excellent, dedicated care.
The home is registered for eight individuals and is situated in Swansea, next to the M4, which offers excellent transport links.
The nursing home receives regular recommendations and referrals through word-of-mouth due to the exceptional accommodation provided, and it benefits from healthy occupancy levels as a result.
Our client Sandra Merrell has owned the home for over 20 years and decided to place Manorleigh on the market to fulfil other business interests.
Once on the market with Redwoods Dowling Kerr, the home generated significant levels of interest and received four strong offers.
Manorleigh was eventually sold to Mani Neelamegan, a first-time buyer in the care home sector who wants to continue the growth of the business.
Mr Neelamegan also stated that the strong levels of profit the business generates year-on-year is what attracted him to the opportunity.
Upon completion of the sale, Director of Healthcare Mike Hatton said: “We were delighted to have been able to assist in the sale of Manorleigh on behalf of Sandra Merrell, and to have facilitated the transfer of the business to an operator with a care background, albeit their first care home.
“Although transacted during the challenging times of Covid, both buyers and sellers worked closely together to bring it to a successful conclusion.”
