Redwoods Dowling Kerr are delighted to announce that we have advised the sale of Lysth Nursery, sold to Welcome Nurseries.
The nursery, which is situated in South West London, has been under current ownership since 2018 when they took over on a management basis.
The business usually runs at a capacity of 20 children aged between three months and five years, with significant scope to expand their service offering to circa 45 children.
The building provides an excellent setting for a nursery school with large windows providing a light and airy feel, along with views over a golf course giving a wonderful feeling of outside space.
The setting sits within an affluent residential area attracting an excellent catchment of children and is also popular with commuters given the links to London by both road and rail.
After operating the nursery for three years, the owner wanted to sell Lysth Nursery and they instructed Redwoods Dowling Kerr in the sale.
Using our expertise and first-class marketing and research campaign, the nursery received a substantial amount of interest, with 18 viewings and four offers submitted.
In the end, it was Welcome Nurseries who purchased the business. Linda Cuddy, the Director, has used our services to purchase a number of settings already in 2021 and we look forward to continuing our strong relationship with the business.
