Phoenix House, a residential care home in Worcester, has sold to an experienced operator, advised by RDK.
Phoenix House was established in 1986 by the current owner and, in that time, has earned an excellent reputation as a leading care provider in the local area. Due to the reputable care that the home provides, the business experiences healthy occupancy levels year on year.
The care home is registered for 11 residents, specialising in caring for those with learning disabilities such as Down’s Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy. Additionally, the home has a large garden to the rear to encourage residents to use outdoor space, with ample parking for visitors and staff.
The current owner wished to retire after successfully establishing the care home and instructed Redwoods Dowling Kerr in the sale. Our unique marketing campaign generated high levels of interest, with the business being sold to an existing, experienced operator within the sector.
The buyer has over 5 years of experience in the healthcare sector and was drawn to the business due to its excellent reputation and accessibility and the size of the property included in the sale. They intend to continue to run the home successfully and expand where possible.
