Redwoods Dowling Kerr is delighted to announce the sale of Koala Club, a successful out of school club occupying in a convenient and accessible position within Warwickshire.
Situated close to Nuneaton town centre and strong links to the nearby A-roads, the business is equipped to a very high standard with an extensive range of excellent quality resources and children’s furniture, which are required to operate such a thriving setting.
The club provides professional care for children aged 4 to 11 years and currently runs during term time, with potential to offer holiday clubs to facilitate growth. It operates from a main hall with three additional principal rooms and a conservatory providing care for the relevant age groups.
The setting was rated “Good” by Ofsted in its latest inspection in November 2018 and there is a compliment of long-serving, experienced staff members in place, which is another critical factor of the success and reputation of the club.
Anne Hardy, the owner of Koala Club, decided to sell her business in order to facilitate retirement plans and the club was promptly sold to Jacqueline Bridgen, a first-time buyer already operating in the childcare sector.
Jacqueline said the location of the club was an important factor in making the purchase and she has plans to build on the existing premises to facilitate growth.
She said: “Redwoods Dowling Kerr were helpful throughout the process.”
“They provided a good service and were very understanding especially with the delays due to Covid-19.”
Sales Negotiator Natasha Satterthwaite commented: “For Anne and Jackie to complete on this transaction during the national pandemic just shows the dedication both have in the setting and its success. I’d like to wish both the very best of luck with their future endeavours.”
