Redwoods Dowling Kerr recently advised the sale of Kidspiration Day Nursery, based in Greater Manchester, to existing operators Buddle Nurseries Ltd.
The nursery, located in the recently regenerated area of Gorton, has an excellent reputation in the local area due to the high-quality care provided and the accessibility of the setting. Kidspiration Day Nursery was also rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted in its most recent inspection.
The day nursery is registered to provide care for 58 children, from birth up to age 5. There is also an additional holiday club that offers care for children up to the age of 11. The quality of staff also contributes to the nursery’s excellent reputation, with many members of staff being highly qualified and long-serving.
It was the vendors wish to sell Kidspiration in order to retire from the sector, and instructed Redwoods Dowling Kerr in the sale. After just over 4 weeks on the market, the vendor accepted the buyer’s offer.
The buyers, Buddle Nurseries Ltd, are experienced within the childcare sector and were looking to further expand their portfolio. Initially attracted to the nursery due to the excellent location, Buddle Nurseries Ltd will continue to provide the quality care that is associated with the nursery.
Upon completion of the sale, the vendor said: “Redwoods Dowling Kerr provided excellent service with communication and efficiency. I was looking for an experienced buyer dedicated to providing a high standard of care and they found this for me. Kim was very friendly and professional; I found the week-to-week communication brilliant”.
