Katey’s Roehampton Sold To Family First Nursery Group

Redwoods Dowling Kerr facilitated the sale of London based Katey’s Roehampton to Family First Nursery Group, successfully completing the deal in less than four months.

Jenna Caldwell, Director of Childcare & Education at RDK, contacted Family First, who promptly proceeded with the off-market acquisition. The group has grown to 19 nurseries since acquiring its first nursery group in June 2019. This is the second purchase where they have used RDK’s services after acquiring Surrey-based nursery Bizzy Bees in July 2020.

Katey’s Roehampton operates in Wandsworth, London. It provides a fun, caring and stimulating environment for children up to 5 years of age. The professional and qualified team ensures that all children are happy and develop their physical, intellectual, emotional, and social skills.

The vendors were motivated to sell due to focusing on the other settings in their nursery group. The buyer was attracted to purchase Katey’s House Nursery due to the location and quality of the setting. The most recent Ofsted inspection of ‘Outstanding’ underlines this.

The vendor said, “Thank you so much to Redwoods for all their hard work with our sale. I am glad it’s all over. The solicitors were excellent, and I felt fortunate to have them on board and managing this.”
