iCare International Ltd Sold to an Existing Operator

Redwoods Dowling Kerr has successfully facilitated the sale of iCare International Ltd, a Stockport-based care group, to an existing operator.

Established in 2001, iCare comprises of two care homes, Marple Lodge in the town of Marple, and Grove Lodge in Hazel Grove village. Both settings provide group residential care for individuals over the age of 45 with dementia, sensory impairments and mental health issues. Located close to Manchester City Centre, the settings benefit from being close to the A555 and local bus routes, as well as being within walking distance of local amenities.

During the last five years, iCare has established itself as one of the leading care providers within Greater Manchester. Registered for 39 residents in total, each setting boasts an excellent reputation for providing exceptional standards of care, support, development and dignity within a warm and friendly environment. With historically high levels of occupancy and an experienced team of staff, both settings have achieved a ‘Good’ rating from the Care Quality Commission.

This first-class business opportunity was offered for sale following our client’s wish to retire. Our client was delighted to hand over their business to an experienced operator with a background in the healthcare sector. Marking their second acquisition with Redwoods Dowling Kerr, the buyer aims to maintain each home’s excellent reputation and continue to provide an outstanding level of care to their residents.
