Redwoods Dowling Kerr are delighted to announce the successful sale of Greetland Private Day Nursery, based in Halifax.
Established by family owner Alexandra Skvortsov back in 1999, the nursery is registered for 90 children aged from birth through to five years. The business also offers a popular before, after school and holiday club for children up to the age of 11.
The nursery achieved an Ofsted rating of ‘Good’ in its last inspection and has cemented an excellent reputation with parents in the surrounding areas, enjoying high occupancy levels as a result.
Greetland Private Day Nursery operates from a highly visible and substantial three-storey former school which has been carefully converted and extensively modernised providing versatile and deceptively spacious nursery accommodation.
Having built up the successful nursery for over 20 years, the owner decided to sell the business to retire and instructed Redwoods Dowling Kerr in the sale.
After an extensive research and marketing campaign, Greetland Private Day Nursery received substantial interest, with nine viewings and three strong offers submitted.
The nursery was sold to Welcome Day Nurseries, a corporate operator looking to expand their portfolio. This is the fourth setting they have chosen to purchase through Redwoods Dowling Kerr and we are delighted to assist them once again with another acquisition.
