Grange House Day Nursery, a well-established children’s day nursery in Cheshire, has been sold to an existing childcare operator.
Grange House Day Nursery was established by the present family owners over 20 years ago and during that time the nursery has earned a truly enviable reputation for providing professional childcare.
The nursery provides professional, quality childcare from 3 months through to 5 years of age.
The nursery enjoys excellent reviews ensuring regular referrals and recommendations with high occupancy levels and has a “Good” rating by Ofsted.
There is a management team and compliment of highly qualified, long serving staff members in place which is another factor of the businesses ongoing success and reputation.
The owners wanted to sell Grange House Day Nursery as they wanted to retire. Recognised as the UK’s leading advisor in childcare business sales, Redwoods Dowling Kerr were instructed in the sale.
Our first-class marketing and research strategies secured a strong level of interest and the nursery received four viewings and three offers.
The business was sold to Mr Darren Stoker, who is an existing childcare operator and has also purchased through RDK previously.
The new owners plan to grow Grange House Day Nursery and provide same levels of high-quality childcare which the nursery is known for.
Commenting on the sale, Childcare Negotiator Kim Emsley said:
“It has been a pleasure to help see this opportunity through to completion. I want to wish the vendors the best of luck.
“The buyers continued persistence throughout has been refreshing and it has been a pleasure to help them acquire another addition to their successful portfolio.
“I wish them all the best moving forward and I have no doubt they will succeed.”
