Redwoods Dowling Kerr has advised the successful sale of a former elderly and dementia care home registered for 29 residents in Cambridgeshire.
The care home delivered quality care within a comfortable and pleasant environment located in the market town of Huntingdon and is centrally located, making it an ideal location to run a successful care business.
All bedrooms are spacious comfortable living arrangements, with many having views over the gardens. The care home had an extremely good reputation with not only the local authority with regards to placements but also from the private sector, and many residents came from word-of-mouth referrals.
The care home was purchased by our clients in 2008 and is presented in very good order throughout with many original features still in place and was offered for sale due to semi-retirement.
Recognising Redwoods Dowling Kerr to be the premier business brokerage within the healthcare market, we were formally instructed to conduct the sale. After a comprehensive marketing campaign, the former care home received a tremendous amount of attention and generated 10 viewings, with four subsequent offers being made. It was ultimately acquired by an established property developer.
Upon completion of the sale, Sales Negotiator Asif Musa said: “I was delighted to be able to quickly target the right buyer for the opportunity and secure a great deal for our clients.
“They were a pleasure to work with and I wish them all the best with their semi-retirement plans. I also wish the purchaser best of luck with their future moving forward.”
