First Nursery sold by RDK

A well-established nursery situated in Leeds has been sold to Welcome Nurseries Limited, advised by Redwoods Dowling Kerr. 

First Nursery occupies a prominent trading position set back from a busy main commuter route leading into Leeds city centre within a well populated residential area. 

Under current ownership since 2009, the nursery has earned an excellent reputation for providing quality childcare and enjoying regular referrals and recommendations.

First Nursery was rated as “good” by Ofsted at the latest inspection in 2015 and has a capacity for 50 children offering care from 3 months through to 5 years of age. 

The nursery operates from an imposing and substantial detached property which has been converted providing spacious and versatile rooms which are all well-presented.

The vendor looked to sell the business to pursue other business interests, and due to this, Redwoods Dowling Kerr were instructed in the sale. 

With our unique buyer knowledge, our marketing campaign generated substantial amounts of interest. First Nursery received 19 viewings and five offers in total. 

The successful buyers, Welcome Nurseries Limited, are a corporate group operator who have purchased several settings through RDK in recent times. 

This latest acquisition takes their group total to 29 nurseries, making them one of the largest nursery operators in the UK.
