Elm House Residential Care Home located in Chesterfield sold to Unic Care Services Ltd in a deal facilitated by Redwoods Dowling Kerr.
Elm House is a residential care home for residents with learning disabilities. Located in Bolsover, Chesterfield, the care home sits positioned at the heart of a densely populated residential area, with public transport and the main commuter route nearby. It is a short distance from the town centre and with a wide selection of shops and local amenities.
The care home enjoys an enviable reputation for providing excellent standards of care, support and development. It has a ‘good’ rating across all areas by CQC in its last inspection.
The buyer confirmed:
“We are delighted to have acquired our first residential care home from Redwoods Dowling Kerr after a period of intensive search and challenges that almost dented our aspirations in this context. The sale lingered on for too long. We almost lost hope but we persevered and remained optimistic of a positive outcome. Unexpectedly, Mr Asif Musa came on board. His intervention impressively accelerated the process to its final conclusion with the change of ownership of Elm House Residential Home.
Mr Asif Musa prioritised and assured of his commitment in overseeing the sale to the end and he remarkably, did. He was extremely instrumental, pivotal and supportive in keeping the deal on track by maintaining regular communication with all the parties involved; the sellers and their firm of solicitors and accountant and on the other hand our solicitors and our accountant, which was generally worthy of recognition and certainly commendable.
