An excellent domiciliary care agency based in Hull has been sold, thanks to Redwoods Dowling Kerr.
The company was established by the current owners back in 2015 and during that time the business has earned a truly enviable reputation for offering a range of quality, professional care to service users who are living in their own homes, allowing them to maintain their independence and dignity.
The agency has forged strong relationships with several external providers including the NHS and private individuals. The business was also awarded a two-year contract with a two-year extension in April 2019 as a preferred social care provider with East Riding County Council.
The business delivers approximately 1200 hours of care on a weekly basis, whilst also enjoying an array of strong referrals and recommendations.
The agency currently provides care to around 100 service users to various villages and towns within a 15-mile radius from their head office in Hull and was rated as “Good” across all five areas by the CQC at the latest inspection.
The company offers both personal and domestic care for adults and the elderly including medical care, management of medication, meal preparation, mental health, dementia, physical and learning difficulties, end of life care as well as companionship.
Having built up the business since its inception, the owners decided that now was the right time to sell their comprehensive domiciliary care business, and they approached Redwoods Dowling Kerr to facilitate the transition of ownership of their agency.
Once on the market, the business attracted high levels of interest and received two offers. It ultimately sold to an existing operator in the healthcare sector looking to expand their care agency portfolio.
Upon completion of the sale, Lead Negotiator Nick Shepherd said: “I am very pleased to have brokered this transaction. I wish the buyers all the best for the future and hope that the vendor can now look forward to a successful career in their new ventures.”
