Brock House Nursery School Sold to Flower Pots Day Nursery

Brock House Nursery School Limited, a well-established day nursery in St Albans, Hertfordshire, has been successfully sold to Flower Pots Day Nursery, in a deal facilitated by Redwoods Dowling Kerr.

The nursery operates from a substantial purpose-built setting in a prime central location, within walking distance of key transport links. Established for around 30 years, the setting has built a strong reputation within the local community and offers full-day childcare for children up to five years of age.

Registered for 70 children, the nursery benefits from clearly defined age-specific rooms, including a dedicated baby unit with its own facilities, alongside well-equipped indoor environments and secure outdoor play areas. The setting follows a child-centred approach to learning and maintains strong relationships with parents, supported by regular communication and structured progress updates.

The business is Ofsted rated ‘Good’ and offers year-round provision with extended opening hours, providing flexibility for working families.

The sale attracted multiple offers from trade buyers and established childcare groups, resulting in a competitive bids process.

The transaction was brokered by Sarah Ellison, Deputy Manager at Redwoods Dowling Kerr.
