Redwoods Dowling Kerr are delighted to announce the successful sale of Brightening Lives Ltd, a domiciliary care agency based in North Yorkshire, to the Procurae Group.
Brightening Lives was established in 2019 to provide personalised care for children, young people and adults with a range of disabilities in their own homes and in the community. Working in partnership with a range of local services through their Brightening Minds and Opening Minds programmes, the care agency is centred around the belief that people’s lives should not be restricted through living with a complex health or social need. Having received a ‘Good’ rating from the Quality Care Commission at their most recent inspection, Brightening Lives work with a team of highly qualified care professionals to offer round the clock care across the North Yorkshire area.
Following our clients’ retirement, Brightening Lives Ltd signified an ideal acquisition opportunity for the Procurae Group. Providing supported housing and complex care services to clients across the UK, the group employs over 260 members of staff. The sale comes as their fourth alongside Redwoods Dowling Kerr, having previously acquired CJP Outreach Services and Dales Community Care in 2021, and Avon Support in 2022.
