Brambles Day Nursery sold to experienced operator

Brambles Day Nursery, based in Milton Keynes, has been purchased by an experienced operator, advised by Redwoods Dowling Kerr. The nursery generated strong interest, with 26 viewings and 9 strong offers.

The nursery was established over 14 years ago by Tracey and Mark Wadsworth, who used their childcare expertise to cement the nursery as a leading provider of childcare. Furthermore, the desirable location also contributes to the nursery’s success, with the business being renowned not only within the local vicinity, but further afield.

In order to engage children in their surroundings, the nursery it set amongst wonderful gardens to encourage children to partake in outdoor play. There is also a music and dance studio in the nursery that assists in providing children with a unique nursery experience.

Tracey and Mark put the nursery on the market as they wished to pursue other business interests after successfully establishing the nursery.

With 26 viewings and 9 strong offers, the business was sold to Mr Ravat, an experienced operator with 15 years of experience within the sector. Mr Ravat runs various other settings with his family and has previously used RDK to acquire settings for his portfolio.

Mr Ravat was initially attracted to the business due to its excellent location and the rare opportunity to acquire a reputable day nursery.  Mr Ravat plans for a smooth handover with the current owner and get to know his staff whilst incorporating the setting into his existing group.
