Kids Kapers, located in the popular town of Kearsley, has been sold to a family run operator looking to expand their portfolio.
The well-known nursery has been in operation since 2008 and has earned an excellent reputation with historically healthy occupancy levels and enjoying regular referrals and recommendations.
The nursery was rated “Good” by Ofsted at the latest inspection in 2014 and Kids Kapers is registered for 62 children, providing quality care from six months through to five years of age. It also offers a before and after school provision with a popular holiday club for children up to 11 years of age.
Brought to the market by Redwoods Dowling Kerr due to the vendor’s retirement plans, this esteemed nursery setting generated a considerable amount of attention, with 11 viewings and two offers.
It was eventually sold to Bushra Shameem, who previously purchased a nursery in 2017 and has extensive knowledge in the childcare sector. Mrs Shameen said the excellent location and reputation of Kids Kapers attracted her to the business.
Upon completion of the sale, the vendor said: “Redwoods Dowling Kerr is very professional company. It was good working with Sarah, our personal contact, who obviously knows a lot about buying and selling nurseries.
“The level of service has been very good, and I felt that if I was unsure about anything I could ring and be talked through the next steps and I would most definitely recommend RDK to anyone.”
