A highly respected domiciliary care agency based in Gloucestershire has been sold to a corporate buyer, advised by Redwoods Dowling Kerr.
Avida Care has been run by our clients since 2014 and during that time the business has earned an excellent reputation for offering high-quality care to service users who are living in their own homes.
The agency has forged strong relationships with several external providers including the NHS and private individuals. Avida Care delivers circa 2,300 hours of care on a weekly basis and enjoys regular referrals and recommendations from clients.
The business has a team of qualified and experienced staff members, as well as 30 fully trained CRB checked carers, a testament to the agency’s on-going success and reputation. In its last inspection in January 2019, the agency was rated “Good” across all five areas by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Avida Care offers an extensive range of short and long-term personal and domestic care for adults, including medical care, management of medication, meal preparation, mental health, dementia, physical and learning difficulties and end of life.
After managing the agency for several years, our clients wanted to sell Avida Care to pursue other business ventures and they instructed Redwoods Dowling Kerr in the sale.
With our market-leading knowledge and first-class marketing strategies, we managed to secure an array of interest and the agency was sold to a corporate buyer looking to increase their portfolio size in just six weeks.
The buyer has been operating in the sector for over 20 years and said the reputation, growth potential and the surrounding area is what attracted them to the business.
