Redwoods Dowling Kerr, the group’s leading childcare and healthcare broker, conducted a number of significant transactions, including the sale of Angels by Day Limited, a Nottingham-based childcare group of two nurseries, to Kids Planet Limited. Facilitated by Redwoods Dowling Kerr, this acquisition expands Kids Planet’s footprint to over 200 nursery locations across the UK.
Also in the childcare department, Yorkshire-based Kaleidoscope Day Nurseries Limited has sold to Muddy Boots Nurseries, joining their three existing settings in York. The team also successfully negotiated the sale of Little Tots Nurseries Limited, a group of two nurseries in Reading, to Muddle Puddle Nurseries Limited, and First Nursery Limited in Peebles, Scotland, sold to a first-time buyer.
Redwoods Dowling Kerr’s expert healthcare team brokered the sale of Glamorgan Care Limited, a Porthcawl-based residential and domiciliary care provider, to My Choice Healthcare South Wales. This strategic acquisition strengthens My Choice Healthcare’s network, now comprising of nine care facilities throughout South Wales.
The specialist healthcare broker have additionally facilitated the sale of Apley Lodge Residential Home in Pembrokeshire, sold to an existing corporate buyer in the sector. Alongside this, the team facilitated the sale of Safion Care Limited, a domiciliary care agency based in Swindon, to the St Georges Group, and Berkshire-based Your Serenity Limited to an existing operator.
Buoyed by October’s success, Altius Group anticipates continued momentum, with the recent Autumn Budget expected to stimulate further enquiries as business owners evaluate their exit options.
