Acorn Day Nursery is a well-established highly respected children’s day nursery located in Luton, Bedfordshire. It has a capacity for up to 100 children from 3 months to 5 years of age. The nursery was originally established in 2002. It sits in a well-populated residential area close to the mainline train station, offering direct links to London St Pancras.
Acorn Day Nursery operates out of two detached bungalow-style properties and features a fully enclosed rear garden.
The buyer, a local operator, is an experienced early years practitioner and has been working with children and families in Luton for over 20 years. After working as a Child Centre coordinator and setting up health services and education programs for children under 5, they managed to open their first nursery setting in 2016, receiving an ‘Outstanding’ rating by Ofsted twice in a row. The purchase of Acorn Day Nursery marks the acquisition of their second setting.
The buyer confirmed: “Redwood Dowling Kerr staff have been very supportive with the sale. I would definitely recommend them. They guided me throughout the whole process. I feel very excited about the completion. I’m looking forward to taking over this new early years setting as a Director.”
