Redwoods Dowling Kerr have advised the sale of Little Steps Day Nursery, well-established and highly respected family owned children’s nursery which is situated in the popular market town of Rochdale.
The nursery occupies a convenient and accessible position within a prominent area ideally placed for the town’s major commuter routes with public transport facilities also close at hand.
Having been in present family ownership for the past 17 years, Little Steps Day Nursery has earned an enviable reputation for providing quality, professional childcare within a warm and secure environment.
The nursery enjoys excellent reviews, ensuring regular referrals and recommendations demonstrating historically high occupancy levels, and was graded as ‘Good’ in its last Ofsted inspection.
Little Steps Day Nursery is registered for 51 children and provides quality care for ages 0-5 and is equipped to a very high standard with an extensive range of quality resources which are required to operate such a popular setting.
There is a compliment of long serving, qualified staff members in place which is another factor of the nursery’s on-going success and reputation.
Having built the successful nursery for several years, our clients Roy and Pamela Salt contacted Redwoods Dowling Kerr to advise in the sale as they wanted to pursue other business interests.
After an extensive marketing campaign, the nursery received a high amount of interest and was sold in just five weeks.
The nursery was sold to Edward Smethurst of Ashworth View Nursery and this latest acquisition takes his portfolio to six settings.
Upon completion of the sale, the vendor said: “The service at Redwoods Dowling Kerr was excellent from start to finish. Karrina took the stress out of selling our business and I am happy with the sale.”
Lead Negotiator of the sale Karrina Lee commented: “It has been a pleasure working with Roy and Pamela Salt. Little Steps was a great opportunity, I am thrilled that we were able to secure them a buyer and complete the sale in just five weeks of coming to the market.
“I would like to wish the purchaser all the best in the future with their new acquisition.”
