Annie’s Nest Acquired by Family Run Operator

This excellent day nursery in Twickenham, London has been sold by Redwoods Dowling Kerr

Founded by the vendors in 2007, Annie’s Nest Preschool and Nursery has become renowned for offering the highest possible quality of childcare. The nursery provides a market-leading childcare provision for children from birth to 5 years of age, 51 weeks a year; the setting has been recognised for its excellence with an Ofsted inspection rating of ‘Outstanding’.

Situated in a highly desirable and affluent area of Twickenham, the nursery is strategically positioned to attract the custom from the abundance of nearby families, in addition to commuters heading towards Central London and Canary Wharf thanks to the location’s accessible public transport connections to the city.

Housed in a modern 3 storey property, the nursery has undergone extensive renovations to transform it into the premium childcare provider it remains today. Contained within the building are 3 main classrooms, placed across the 3 floors for the baby, toddler and preschool age groups respectively, each fully equipped a wide assortment of age appropriate toys, activities and learning resources.

Wishing to pursue other business interests, the vendors decided now was the perfect time to place the nursery onto the market. Wanting to obtain the maximum level of capital for their next business venture, the team instructed market leading brokerage Redwoods Dowling Kerr to conduct the sale. After an extensive marketing campaign that garnered a large amount of interest, resulting in 7 separate viewings and 3 offers, the nursery ultimately sold to a family run operator.

The vendor commented on sale;
“I am very grateful for you and Redwoods Dowling Kerr team’s help. Wish you much happiness and success in future. The sale allows us to look at all new life plans.”

Lead Negotiator Sarah Ellison commented;

“It has been a pleasure working with the vendor to aid him in the sale of the nursery, so he can pursue other business interests, and I would like to wish the buyer all the best with this new acquisition, it will be a great addition to their nursery group.”
