This desirable childcare setting is now under new ownership.
Resulting from the completion of a project that launched on the 13th of June 2019, one of the UK’s leading childcare providers has announced its acquisition of Squiggles Childcare Limited, a substantial setting based in Sevenoaks.
Squiggles provides early years care to children aged from 0-5 years. The sale, brokered by Redwoods Dowling Kerr, sees Busy Bees acquire the setting located on London Road in Riverhead, Sevenoaks, which offers places for up to 93 children.
The family-run nursery operated by mother and daughter pair Jackie and Claire, features a large outdoor play area and cares for children between the hours of 8am to 6pm.
After a highly competitive bidding process, Squiggles Childcare’s sale was agreed on the 26th of July 2019, and ultimately acquired by the chosen purchaser Busy Bees.
Following on from the acquisition on the 29th of January 2020, Busy Bees now cares for more than 35,000 children across 379 nurseries in the UK and Ireland.
Recent expansions overseas bring its total to 50,000 children across more than 500 nurseries in the UK, Singapore, Malaysia, Canada, Ireland, Italy, America, Vietnam and Australia.
