Having operated for well over a decade, Sunshine Homecare Ltd has earned itself a strong reputation amongst its clients, their families, the wider community and the local authorities. Providing domiciliary care across the East Midlands, the service offers a variety of care solutions for those wishing to maintain their independence and remain in their own home.

Sunshine Homecare Ltd currently provides care for circa 90 service users, delivering in excess of 900 hours of care per week. By ensuring the dignity and continued quality of life for its clients, the service has proven highly popular with its provisions of personal care, domestic care, end of life care, learning disability care, mental health care, dementia care, meal preparation and companionship, all available on a short or long term basis.

Assisting the directors to realise their care ethos and business goals is an experienced management team, along with a long-standing cohort of care coordinators, supervisors, admin staff and circa 50 fully trained carers. All staff undergo a rigorous recruitment and training programme to ensure they can maintain the high standards expected from them.

Now wishing to retire, the vendors made the challenging decision to place Sunshine Homecare Ltd onto the market and formally instructed Redwoods Dowling Kerr, a leader in the UK healthcare market, to facilitate the sale. After a comprehensive marketing campaign that garnered a large amount of interest, the service ultimately sold to a pre-existing market operator looking to expand their services in geographical footprint.
