Redwoods Dowling Kerr are delighted to announce the sale of The Green Umbrella Day Nursery in Bristol. The excellent freehold nursery was sold to Treetops Nurseries, a network of quality day care nurseries and preschools throughout England, through RDK’s Corporate Sales Process.
The Green Umbrella operates from a large premises approximately 20 miles south of Bristol and is registered for 49 children. The setting boasted a ‘Good’ Ofsted report and consistently high occupancy levels. The nursery provides childcare all year round, and delivers morning/afternoon and all day sessions – offering a flexible service for children from birth to 5 years of age.
The vendors, Mrs Karen & Mr Steve O’Callaghan, decided to place the business on the market due to their wish to retire. Karen and her husband have run The Green Umbrella Day Nursery for over 12 years, in order to fulfil their dream of running their own business. They decided to sell their business through RDK’s bespoke Corporate Sales Process service, which offers enhanced levels of confidentiality and targeted marketing, so that the right corporate buyer can be achieved.
